Uncle Scoobes says hello

With only 1 day left before Steve was ready to fly back to India, there was a certain amount of pressure for Sarah to deliver ontime... Luckily, as you can see, she was born with literally hours to spare and Steve was the first person there to welcome Albany into the world.

When only 5 days old, my ever organised parents managed to get me registered. Here's a photo of the scene...

And so nearly one month on I have finally worked out how to post photos of myself. Here are a few of me mewling and puking in my parents arms...

I have been born...

Dear Blogreaders, Thank you very much for the cards, letters and presents welcoming me to the world. It seems to be a very nice place, though a trifle windy at present. Many people have asked about my name. It comes from Alba, the Gaelic for Scotland, and is thought of as the female version of Alban (as in St.)

The Florence bit is because I will be spending most of my salad days in Florence Park, a beautiful area that my house overlooks.

In the 2 weeks I have been born, I have managed to put on over 1lb. This is all thanks to the cookies that my mum has been eating. Family Wainwright is all doing well and Olivia is treating me beautifully.

I will try and post some new photos of myself soon.
