I have been born...

Dear Blogreaders, Thank you very much for the cards, letters and presents welcoming me to the world. It seems to be a very nice place, though a trifle windy at present. Many people have asked about my name. It comes from Alba, the Gaelic for Scotland, and is thought of as the female version of Alban (as in St.)

The Florence bit is because I will be spending most of my salad days in Florence Park, a beautiful area that my house overlooks.

In the 2 weeks I have been born, I have managed to put on over 1lb. This is all thanks to the cookies that my mum has been eating. Family Wainwright is all doing well and Olivia is treating me beautifully.

I will try and post some new photos of myself soon.

I knew it had something to do with Florence Park! Which was why I couldn't figure out the name Albany (which immediately made me think of Albany Road in Coventry). Now it all makes sense...

Miss Albany! Welcome to our world, I can feel you making it a better place already. Please take good care of Mommy for a while, she might be a bit tired. I hope the wind has died down but if not there is always space for all you Wrigglewrights to come and visit. I can promise there'll be no wind but be prepared for the sunshine, your cutest bonnets will be needed. I look forward to meeting to soon and introducing your future husband Rohan John xx
